Solution to aid US Auto Industry

Over the past few weeks politicians in Washington have discussed wether to use billions in tax payer funds to bailout the failing US auto industry. While a much more efficient plan that will ensure the auto industries future is right here.

All Congress must do is pass a 15,000 dollar tariff on all foreign cars entering the United States. This will increase US auto manufacturers sales. However any company who has a minimum of 4 factories based in the US that produces a minimum of 600,000 vehicles yearly, and provide employees with full dental, medical, and retirement benifits can have the tariff reduced to $5,000 per imported car. Like most issues this is a broad plan and would require much discussion in congress. However it provides a basic outline that promotes American bussiness, and will create thousands of new jobs across the United States.
